Pauline Nash, 98, passed from this life on Monday, January 4, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas.
A graveside service was held at 3 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Floyd County Memorial Park. Reverend Stephanie Nash officiated.
Visitation was held prior to the service from 1p.m.- 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada (Facemasks were requested for both events).
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.
Pauline was born on October 18, 1922 in Italy, Texas to Doc and Gussie Jarrett.
She married J Duane “Pete” Nash on May 27, 1942, and they lived in Ellis County, Texas until 1955. They raised their family and spent most of their lives in Floydada, Hereford, and Lubbock.
Pauline’s life was dedicated to her husband and children, her home, and her church. She was beloved by friends, neighbors, and family and will be greatly missed.
The family expresses its deep appreciation to the dedicated staff at The Legacy at South Plains and Hospice of Lubbock for their loving care.
Pauline was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Whit Jarratt, her husband Pete, and her grandson, Nick Hadderton.
Surviving Pauline are her four children, Margaret Irby (Larry), Camilla Wideman (Spike), Paul Nash (Stephanie), and Martha Hadderton (Mike) as well as eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and extended family.
Memorial donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to Hospice of Lubbock or the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
