FLOYDADA – A barbeque fundraiser for Hunter Wells, age 4, will be held during Santa on the Square on Thursday, Dec. 10. The fundraiser starts at 5:30 p.m. and will be set up in front of Assiter’s Insurance, 120 W. California, Floydada. For a $7 donation you will receive a BBQ sandwich, chips and drink.
Hunter, son of Kayla and Robert Wells, was recently diagnosed with leukemia. They will be living in the hospital for six months for treatment. In order to accommodate work schedules, Kayla and Robert are alternating their time at the hospital.
All proceeds will go to the Wells family to help with expenses and medical bills during Hunter’s long hospital stay.
Hunter also has a twin sister, Ella.
Donations may be made to the Love Fund set up for Hunter at Happy State Bank located in Floydada, Lockney or Plainview.
Please help us come together as a community to show our love and support for this family.
