Maria Dolores Chavarria

Maria Dolores Chavarria, also known by friends and family as Lolita, was called home by our Lord and Savior on Monday, November 30, 2020, at the age of 80 years old at Amarillo. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2020. Father Cruz officiated.

An open visitation was held Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.

Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.

Lolita was born in San Jose De Reyes, Durango, Mexico on March 15, 1940 to Marcelino and Reynita Martinez.

She married the love of her life Alberto Chavarria on December 31, 1967 in Santa Clara, Durango, Mexico. They were blessed with four boys and two girls. They later migrated to Floyd County where they resided for over 40 years.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. She enjoyed sewing, massage therapy, cooking. But most of all she cherished spending time with her family. Lolita is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherished and carry on her legacy are her husband, Alberto Chavarria; four sons, Adolfo Chavarria (Mita), Albert Chavarria (Olga), Victor Chavarria (JoAnn), and Ruben Chavarria (Diana); two daughters, Ana Gonzalez (Rudy) and Carmela Enriquez (Sergio); four siblings, Francisco, Jesus Martines, Soccorro Cervantes, and Margarita Martinez. She also has 20 grandchildren, Justin

Chavarria (Melissa), Jon-Paul Chavarria (Quinn), Stefanni Chavarria, Jacob Chavarria, Blake Chavarria (Ashley), Aaron Chavarria (Tiara), Christian Chavarria (Anastasia), Josh Chavarria (Brreka), RoxAnn Chavarria, Ryan Chavarria (Samantha), Aimee Chavarria, Taylor Segura (Jessie), Aryssa Garcia, and Amari Garcia , Kaitlin, Emily, and Alexandria Gonzalez, Lizzete, Alyssandra, and Sergio Esteban Enriquez; six great-grandchildren, Soledad Chavarria, Kennedy Chavarria, Aaliyah Chavarria, Kobe Chavarria, Kehlani Chavarria, and Alexander Chavarria.

Lolita will be dearly missed but will always be in our hearts. We give thanks to God for sharing a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother that gave us so many years of cherished memories. We will never forget you.
