FLOYD COUNTY – Every month Floyd County Texas AgriLife Ag agent, Cristen Brooks holds a photography class as a 4-H project. This project has become one of the 4-H members favorite projects. Every month the 4-H members can take part in the monthly photo contest, and every month has a different theme. The photos are judged by an outside Texas AgriLife agent.
This 4-H project is designed to help students explore the world of photography. From learning about camera equipment to creating great images and sharing lessons learned with others, students are bound to love photography.
October’s theme was “Fall.” The 1st place photo was taken by Teagan Rogers, 2nd place photo was taken by Scout Rogers and 3rd place was taken by Hannah Kasner.
For more information on this Floyd County 4-H project call Cristen Brooks at the Texas AgriLife Extension Office at 806-983-4912.
