Coy Grundy, 79, of Floydada passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
Cremation arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Coy was born October 13, 1941 in Arkansas. His parents were J.B. and Grace Grundy.
After high school, Coy attended Delta College and obtained his journeyman’s card. He then went to work as a millwright fixing the machines in auto shops. He was a member of the UAW, United Auto Workers.
When he wasn’t working and after his retirement in 1994, he enjoyed many activities and hobbies. One of Coy’s greatest joys was his dogs. He also loved to play golf, read and go snowmobiling. He was an adventurous person with a zest for life.
Coy was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Karen Campau Grundy in January of 1975, over 44 years ago.
Those left to cherish Coy’s memory are his daughters, Amanda Toronjo and Deborah Dixon and her husband, Jeffrey; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and his sister, Juandell Giles and her husband, Robert.
