I am so saddened to hear this. I moved to Floydada the summer of 1972. I was a senior moving in to a new town from Arkansas. Paula was one of the first people I met in Floydada . She was so kind and sweet and totally welcomed me in as her friend. She made me feel so welcome and we became best friends. Our birthdays were 2 days apart and we both played flute and piccolo . I graduated in 73 so I went off to college and we let life happen and lost touch. Every time I think of Paula she has a smile on her face and a laugh in her heart! She made my school time in Floydada fun!! Goodbye to a wonderful friend!!! I will always remember how sweet she was!!!! Carla
