Austin Phillips, son of Tyler and Lacy Phillips of Lockney, competed in the first ever 4-H District 2 Grilling Games in Lubbock on Oct.10.
Phillips competed in the grilling steak division where he placed first in the pork chop division, Phillips placed third, and he won second overall in the intermediate age group.
4-H is the largest youth development program that offers hands on projects. There the youth is encouraged to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development.
