LOCKNEY – American Legion Post 141 is raffling off four hand crafted knives. The knives are made by Dean Perry, of Plainview, who is known to everyone as the knife man.
Perry is a Navy Veteran who served from 1958-1962.
Buddha McDonald built the wooden and glass display boxes and donated them to Post 141.
The knifes are currently on display at Davis Lumber Yard. Residents may also purchase tickets there or from Script Printing in Floydada. Justice of the Peace Ed Marks has tickets available as well.
The drawing will be held Dec. 1, and participants do not have to be present to win.
One hundred percent of the money from this raffle will go to support local Veterans here in the community, the men and woman who fought for this Country.
