Pat “Patsy” Mae Anderson Adams, age 79, of Tahoka, formerly of Lockney, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Lubbock.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Lockney.
Interment followed at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview.
Visitation was held from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2020 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney. Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney.
Patsy was born March 10, 1941 to T.F. and Jessie Marie (Workman) Anderson in Lockney.
She graduated from Lockney High School in 1959 and went on to study Computer Science at Wayland Baptist University. She worked for many years as the church secretary for the First Baptist Church, both in Lockney and Tahoka.
She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family and friends. She never had an enemy and would do anything for anybody at any time.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, T.F. Anderson and Jessie Marie Workman Anderson, her brother, Milton Zimmerman, her sister, Thelma Zimmerman, her husband, Johnny Ray Adams, a daughter, Cindy Lea Adams, three step-brothers, Dean Leach, James Leach and Kenneth Leach and one step-sister, Letta Hooper.
Those left to cherish Patsy’s memory are her children, Johnny Wayne Adams of Tahoka, Tammy Adams and Tracy Adams, both of Lockney; her grandchildren, Misty (Davie) Villa and Stevie Adams Karlin, both of Lockney, and Windy (Randy) Webb of Plainview; her great-grandchildren, Joey (Niki) Cantu, Shaylea and Shaybrea Villa, all of Lockney, and Ray Lee and Westin Webb of Plainview; her step-brothers, Lloyd Leach of Gainesville and Bobby Leach of Houston; and her step-sister, Anna Mae Leach of Breckinridge.
She will be dearly missed by many other family and friends as well.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patsy’s honor to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, the Lockney Volunteer Fire Department or the Tahoka Volunteer Fire Department.
