Employees travel east
By Teresa Bigham/The Hesperian-Beacon—
FLOYDADA – Lighthouse Electric Coop’s employees Tate Glasscock, Hector Rodriquez, Terry Farley, Jorge Lara, Aaron Saenz and Fidel Valdes had one thing on their minds when they hit the road Aug. 28, and that was helping the Jasper-Newton Electric Cooperative in Jasper, Texas.
“The crew left Floydada after work on Friday, Aug. 28, and stopped in Weatherford for the night. They made the rest of the trip on Saturday. These guys are our first crew and will be there for 10 days,” said Member Services Assistant Mike Green. “If they still have outages, we will send a second crew to relieve the first crew.”
