LOCKNEY – The Lockney Chamber of Commerce sponsored the “Movie on Main” in Lockney Saturday night, Aug. 16.
The community of Lockney came out to watch the first-ever movie on the huge screen located downtown. The weather was perfect to enjoy the night.
Released by Disney in 2017, the evening featured the movie “Ferdinand.” Ferdinand is a young bull who escapes from a training camp in Spain after his father never returns from a showdown with a matador.
The Lockney Chamber of Commerce provided the movie for free but offered concessions of pickles, popcorn, candy and drinks for sale.
Citizens of Lockney practiced social distancing by sitting in family groups for the special event.
