FLOYDADA— The Floydada Lions Club installed the 2020-2021 incoming officers, positions and sweetheart during its weekly meeting Thursday, June 25.
Lions Logan Bradley, Tommy Ogden and Anthony Whitfill were elected president, first vice-president and second vice-president, respectively. Ogden will remain the secretary/treasurer and Lion Bill Harbin will serve as director.
Lion Tamer and Tail Twister positions will be filled by Lions Monte Williams and Bobby Gilliland.
This year’s Lions Club Sweetheart, Audrie Strange, will be a senior at Floydada High School. She is the 17-year-old daughter of Matt and Camaray Strange. Her grandparents are Lion Darrell Gooch and his wife Katrina.
During the luncheon, the newly appointed president presented the outgoing president, Lion Justin Brown, with a plaque of appreciation from the club for his service.
The Floydada Lions Club shares a long history of philanthropic activities that enrich the community by service to others.
