Yolanda (Salinas) Luna, 74, of Lockney passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in Lockney, Texas.
Funeral services were held, Saturday, May 23, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Lockney. Interment followed at the Lockney Cemetery.
Open Visitation was held Friday, May 22, 2020 at Moore- Rose Funeral Home in Lockney. Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney.
Yolanda was born November 24, 1945 in Monte Alto, Texas. Yolanda moved to Lockney in 1974 with her husband Ricardo Luna and raised her combined family.
Yolanda worked part time at her corner store where she was able to turn her hobby of crafting and sewing into a business. She also turned her passion for helping others into a career working as a CNA at the Lockney Assisted Living Home.
Actively involved in the community, Yolanda supported the local high schools by designing mums and made unique decorations for many quinceaneras and weddings.
Her greatest pleasure was received when spending time with her grandchildren.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, Uvaldo Salinas and Aurelia Barrera Salinas; her sister, Josefina Villarreal; her brothers, Luzo Salinas, Javier Salinas, Servando Salinas, and Martin Salinas; her children, Melissa Molina, Ricky Molina; her grandchildren, Luis Martinez Jr., Luis Molina Jr., Gia Molina, and one great grand-child.
Yolanda is survived by her husband, Ricardo Luna; her siblings, Flor. De. Maria Rangel, Alma Rosa Ybarra, Margarita Espinoza, Eliazar Salinas, Lazaro Salinas, and Jesus Salinas; her children, Pedro Molina Jr., Alicia Gonzales, Esperanza Martinez, Artermo Molina, Melinda Ramirez, Luis Molina, Eva Molina, Ricardo Luna Jr., Letica Molina, Soyla Duran, Sandra Molina, Maricela Daniel, Gilberto Luna, and Theresa St. Dennis. She also is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
