LOCKNEY – Joy Dalrymple, owner of Joyfulea Creations has been open a few months now and business is booming.
She and her husband, Curtis have called Lockney home since 2016. Together the couple have four children, Megan Mills, 27 years old, Jordan Smoot, 24 years old, Baylee Hicks 21 years old and a 13-year-old Dalton Thornton. The couple are also the proud grandparents to six grandkids.
“We absolutely love living here. This community is so supportive and welcoming,” Dalrymple said.
“Curtis and I felt like our family needed a change while we were living in Tulia. So, my husband applied with Wright’s Auto, as a certified mechanic. Once he got the job, we just knew this is where we’d call home,” said Dalrymple.
Joy opened her business, Joyfulea Creations and More in July. Dalrymple said, “We carry everything you can think of. Tools, craft items, old records, books, bedding antiques and furniture and everything in between.”
