June Miller McGaugh, age 70, of Floydada, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020.
Memorial services were held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday. January 28, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Floydada, Gary Boles officiated.
Visitation was held from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2020 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.
June was born on June 25, 1949, in Plainview, Texas to C.M. and Dora Miller. She lived in Plainview, Texas, Sanger, Texas and Sandhill community before residing in Floydada. She graduated from Floydada High School in 1967, where she then went to business school and received her business degree.
She met the love of her life, Jimmy McGaugh and married him on November 4, 1971. She then settled in her life of wife and mother in Lakeview Community where they lived for the rest of the days they were together.
June worked for Pioneer Natural Gas, Caprock Hospital, Farm Bureau, Energas and Windmark Insurance Agency. She enjoyed keeping up with her class activities and keeping everyone informed and updated on how everyone was doing.
June is preceded in death by her mother, Dora Miller 2004 and C.M. Miller 2001.
June is survived by her husband, Jimmy McGaugh; her three children, Michael McGaugh of Paris, Texas, Marlyse Jarrett and husband, Kelly Jarrett of Lubbock, and Jay McGaugh of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren, Ciara Walls of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Joel Jarrett of Shallowater, Courtney Jarrett of Lubbock, Meagan Jarrett of Shallowater, Emily Jarrett of Lubbock and their families and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry and Amanda Miller and their three children, Carson Miller, Caleb Miller and Lyndee Miller; and a brother, Jack and Carla Miller and their children, Scott Miller, Cody Miller, Kattie McCoy and their families.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Boy Scouts of America or the Floydada Senior Citizens.
