Floydada resident, Lori Mickey, is excited to finally get her chance to open her dream salon right here in Floydada. She has been a licensed stylist for 15 years and was co-owner of a salon in Plainview, but her dream has always been to open a salon in her hometown. Well, that day is here – The Wild Hare Salon will open mid-January.
Lori has called Floydada home for the past three years along with her fiancée, Austin Campbell, who is a local farmer.
Mickey has always wanted to be a salon owner and comes from a long time of stylist both her mother and aunt have been her inspiration. As a little girl she would give all her Barbie dolls makeovers.
Josana Rendon who is a long-life friend of Lori’s will be working as the shampoo expert offering scalp massages. Josana also has extensive knowledge of all the wonderful products that will be offered at the salon such as Kevin Murphy products and Leaf and Flower CBD Oil shampoo and conditioner.
The Wild Hare Salon is a full- service salon also offering hair coloring, body waxing, gel manicures, facials, eyebrow and eyelash tending. Future services will include acrylic nails and pedicures. The Salon is located at 123 W. California Street, on corner right next to Cathy’s Flowers and Gifts.
- Tuesday – 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Wednesday – 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Thursday/Friday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
An added benefit for all you men… Wednesday mornings are walk-ins in which you will receive a wonderful hot towel treatment along with fresh hot coffee and donuts.
