Early Pritchett, age 102, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2019.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.
Early was married to Ruby Nell Oslin of Kirby, Arkansas. They moved from Arkansas to the South Plains Community of Floyd County in 1947 where Early farmed.
He was a member of the South Plains Baptist Church.
Early loved the Lord, often quoted the Bible, and enjoyed listening to traditional hymns. Throughout his life, he was a happy, positive-minded man, a wonderful father, and his family is so fortunate to have had him for 102 years.
Early’s wife, Ruby, preceded him in death in 1992; as did two of their four children, Louise Turner of Floydada and Jim Pritchett of South Plains.
Early is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Price and Patty Pritchett of Dallas and Steve and Connie Pritchett of Amarillo. Early was also blessed with nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
