Diana Gresham Glover, age 97, formerly of Floydada, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 in Sherman, Texas.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2019 at Floyd County Memorial Park in Floydada.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Diana was born on April 23, 1922 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from TCU and moved to Bowie, Texas for her very first teaching job. There she met her husband, Fate Gresham. In Floydada, Fate was a coach and Diana taught for 30 years. Fate passed away in 1959 and Diana married Kyle Glover in 1963. Diana and Kyle spent summers in New Mexico at their cabin in the mountains.
Diana was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Floydada for 75 years. She was also an accomplished artist and craftsman, and had many hobbies and interests that fulfilled her time. She loved animals and nature especially flowers, and loved being out where she could enjoy them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle in 2004.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam and husband, Ray Rimer; one step-daughter, Lois Ann Sawyer; grandchildren, Julie Godfrey, Kelly Hunt, Darryl Sawyer, and Deborah Cawthon and numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her memory to a charity of your choice.
