Sam Key Green, age 67 of Floydada passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2019 at First United Methodist Church of Floydada.
Interment followed at the Floydada Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 5 – 7 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.
Sam was born February 1, 1952 in Floydada. He was known to be a loving father and granddad, a dedicated farmer, a loyal friend and a passionate City Council member.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, James and Valerie Green.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Amanda Cooper and her husband, Vernon, and Kimberly Perez; his grandchildren, Mallory Cooper, Maddox Cooper, Maliam Cooper, and Nevaeh Perez; and his brother, Phil Green and his wife, Rita.
Sam will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
