Industrial hemp production allowed for in Farm Bill

Proponents work to ease state’s prohibitive language

The Farm Bill legalized hemp production on the federal level, by removing hemp (with less than .3% THC) from the Controlled Substances Act and allowing states to regulate hemp production.
