Getting cotton back into Title 1 as a covered commodity will be the biggest change anticipated in the next farm bill, says Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee Mike Conaway, R-Texas.

Ellsworth: Elevation below normal, water murky. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs around brush structure, docks and Ralph’s Resort. Blue and channel catfish are slow on cut bait, punch bait and shad in the main lake and around points.

Foss: Elevation 3 ft. below normal, water low 50s. Striped bass hybrids are good on slabs. Crappie are fair on jigs around fish house. Catfish are slow.
