Tax rate, Duncan repairs also considered at Aug.meeting
Moving toward adopting its budget and establishing its tax rate for the upcoming fiscal year was among a handful of items handled during the August meeting of the Floydada Collegiate Independent School District.
The board also approved improving existing security measures at A.B. Duncan Elementary School and approved its tax rate for the new fiscal year, according to minutes from the meeting.
