Filings have begun for the March 2024 primary election in Floyd County.
According to Republican party chair Kerry Pratt as of Monday, the following candidates have filed for the primary: Talon Cruse, commissioner precinct 3, Tanner Smith commissioner precinct 1, and Lex Herrington, county attorney and Cristina Chavarria county tax assessor collector.
